SoftWing Flight Park finds a home at Winfield Airport
SoftWing Flight, LLC is now the proud owner of Winfield Airport in Bristol, Wisconsin. The airport was created by the Winfield family and was primarily used in the past for a sky diving school. What had been fondly known as the "pig farm" became Winfield Airport. Although the sky diving school is no longer there, the predominantly ultralight focused private airport continues to support the ultralight and small plane community. SoftWing Flight, LLC will continue to maintain Winfield and SoftWing Flight Park as a private airport and will be offering several types of services in the near future to the aviation enthusiast. Some services that will be provided are:
Winfield Airport is situated on 69 acres adjacent to Winfield Road (Hwy Q). The airport consists of three grass runways:
