Astra HKS

The Astra HKS is powered by the Japanese HKS twin cylinder, four stroke engine. The cruise speed for the HKS powered machine is 65 mph and the fuel burn rate is just over 2.5 gallons per hour. VNE is 90 mph. Stall speed is 32 mph.

The Astra Wing is one of the most stable wings available. The frame is built from 6082 alloy, AN hardware and stainless steel aircraft quality cable. The sail has a Mylar/Trilam leading edge and a Kevlar reinforced trailing edge sewn with Tenara thread for maximum strength and durability.
