PPC Engines
All of our machines are equipped with Rotax Aircraft Engines from Kodiak Research.
447 Engine
(40 Hp. air-cooled SCSI) 2 cylinder, 2 stroke, fan cooled engine with piston ported inlet, electronic single ignition, exhaust system, rewind starter, single carburetor. Electric start option available.
This is used on the Sky Rascal, FAR103 legal machine. |

503 Engine
(50 Hp. air-cooled, DCDI) 2 cylinder, 2 stroke, fan cooled engine with piston ported inlet, electronic dual ignition, exhaust system, rewind starter and dual carburetors. Electric start option available.
This engine is used for the Sky Rascal SLSA. |

582 Engine
(65 Hp. liquid-cooled, DCDI) 2 cylinder, 2 stroke liquid cooled engine with rotary valve inlet, electronic dual ignition, dual circuit cooling system with integrated water pump and thermostat, exhaust system, rewind starter, "B" gearbox, electric start and dual carburetors. (Shown with optional air box available from Rotax Distributors.)
This is the most popular option and only used on the Sky Trek two seat model. |
