BONG RECREATION AREA LOCATION - KENOSHA COUNTY, WISCONSIN
Take I-94 north of the Illinois border about 10 miles to Route 142 west. Continue west about 8 miles to Route 75. Look for the entrance about ? mile west of Route 75. Turn left into the entrance and go to the gate. Bong is a State Park so there will be a fee to enter. Ask the attendant for a 'Runway Pass'. This will allow you to enter the flight area. Follow the park road south from the gate until you come to a fork in the road. Bear right at the fork and continue west. When you come to a wooden viewing tower on the right (north side of road), turn into the parking area on the south side. Go thru the parking area onto the gravel road and follow this road to the runway (gravel runway running east and west with ponds along the edge). Turn right (west) on the runway and look for our trailer and windsock.
